Jindivick Primary School

Set in the rolling green hills of Gippsland’s prime dairy country, for nearly 150 years Jindivick has been the home of a small rural school with very special qualities. The school community invites local parents of primary school aged children to consider our school as a unique educational option for your child.

The mix of dedicated and experienced staff, committed parents, good resources and children who care about themselves, others and the environment are some of the aspects that make Jindivick Primary School truly unique.

Our core value of Care drives how we approach and engage with every member of our community. Along with our other values of being Courteous, showing Consideration, demonstrating Cooperation, and using Common Sense support us to develop and grow a school community that welcomes and supports all students and families to ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed at school.

Principal's Welcome

Jindivick Primary School is a wonderful little school that provides high quality learning opportunities for all students and supports their individual uniqueness so that they can thrive as individuals.

The school offers many unique opportunities for students and in 2024 will offer a range of dedicated specialist programs including: Physical Education, ICT, Music, MARC (mobile Library), Visual Arts and Performing Arts.

Passionate and dedicated staff work together to provide lots of rich experiences for students within and out of the classroom. Staff collaborate to develop their skills and understanding of the most recent research on how children learn and work together to implement this in their classrooms. Because of this high level of collaboration, staff have a very strong understanding of not only the students in their own class but of all the students within the school. Which enables students to feel connected and supported at school.

The school has a very strong Music and Arts program that work in unison to support students to build their confidence and skills to perform at our annual “soiree” and End of Year Concert.

We welcome all families to come and visit our school and come and see the wonderful learning in action.

If you require further information please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Kind regards,
Lara Wilson
